The classic introduction to diving. Spend half a day learning how easy it is to breathe underwater, and discover the abundant life on display within the vibrant coral kingdom. The discovery dive starts with a swimming pool initiation, making the experience safe and fun. Once you have mastered a few basic skills, you will then head out to open sea, doing a dive to 12 meters under the watchful eye of an instructor. Once completed you will receive a Discover Dive certification, which counts toward your Open Water certification should you fall in love.

A PADI Open Water is the most recognised certification worldwide. This course lasts for 3 to 4 days, depending completely upon your preferences and needs, and comes with full insurance and cover, should the unlikely occur. The first day will be spend exclusively in the swimming pool, learning skills and allowing you to gain confidence in a controlled and safe environment. The following day we head out to sea and do two dives by longtail boat, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters. On the final day we head out to Koh Tao’s best sites with our luxury speedboat, where there are two final dives to 18 meters. Once completed you will have the skills to manage your equipment, navigate with a buddy, and most importantly, enjoy a safe dive. After a final exam you will receive a PADI card and logbook.

Improve your skills in the water as an open water or fun diver. Over a period of 2 or 3 days you will make five specialty dives. The deep dive to 30 meters and the navigation dive are mandatory. From a wide variety of specialties such as fish identification, photography and peak performance bouyancy, one can choose three more modules to complete the set. Upon completion you will receive an upgrade of your open water status. Your new certification will allow you to dive to 30 meters worldwide, and will give you a new set of skills, making you safer, more aware and all round better diver. Includes insurance and cover.

Koh Tao has some of the best dive sites in the gulf of Thailand. There are some excellent coastal dives but the truly outstanding spots are a little further afield. Not to worry, our comfortable, 39 foot, 500 hp speedboat will get you to the most exotic, remote sites in less then an hour. For some lovely coastal dives one can charter the longtail boat for a quick jaunt. Group sizes are small and our local divesite knowledge spans thousands of dives.
